Don't look down on this song and say it's a old hymn, cos Chris Tomlin has given a modern twist to it and yet, it retains the meaning of old times--the grace of God is redemptive and freeing!

Acapella version with snippets of the movie that documented the story behind the song: how William Wilberforce tried to abolish slavery in Europe. Very touching... The official trailer on Youtube is also very moving; I best remember the part where an African slave said that he was a prince in Africa.



I think it's a bit sad.. some songwriters of these days write such unmelodious songs. It's like their singing the same note again and again PLUS awful lyrics. Doesn't quite do justice to music.. Music is important! I don't think I can quite live without music ;)
